Tig's First Walk

Payton is warming up to Tig. He wasn't too sure of her to start. The only dogs he has really been exposed to are Cargo, Brenda's dog, who's a spaz (sorry, Bren), and Choppie, my mother-in-law's teacup chihuahua. Choppie weighs about eight pounds, so she doesn't really count as a dog (sorry, Pat).
Payton took Tig on her first walk this morning after church. We walked over to the school and back. It was frigid! But Payton had a blast and Tig seemed to have fun running around with Payton.

The Talbot Family welcomes its newest member, Tig (short for Antigone). She an English mastiff, eleven weeks old. She is the sweetest thing. When we went to pick her out, she walked right up to Ray, sat down, and accepted some petting. Then she rolled over, gave him her tummy, and let him give her a tummy rub. She's already coming when she's called.
Our cat, Coleman, is not happy with us right now, needless to say. You can see her in the last picture, peering out from under the dishwasher.

Eva's 1st Birthday

Eva turned ONE on Dec. 30th, and we celebrated on Saturday. It's so nice to spend time with such a sweet little girl. (Meaning she is nothing like my rowdy, rambunctious son, LOL.)
